Looking good, man. Has a flagellation look to it. Sometimes the best way to inspire creativity is to stop your current project and dabble in something else for a bit. Always helps me!

I've got to say I enjoy other forms of creativity to stave off the overwhelming nature of the current creative project. When I feel overwhelmed by my album-a-year project I just make a different kind of music. Traveling from acoustic alternative to comedic death metal with a few buddies is just so much ridiculous fun.

I respect your escape in painting. without some form of escape I think we all find ourselves treading water.

KEEP TRUCKIN', PHIL.

Ps. I accidentally discovered the intro/verse riff to 'Stay'. and that made my week.

Hey Phil, That is a wonderful piece of work that you have created. I am sure the music will be as well, and it does not surprise me that you have this ability in other areas. I hear your observation about finding respite in another medium . Keep it up. I look forward to listening and looking at your work in the future. Best regards, Scott
